What is Saint Mary's College Circle K?

The Saint Mary's College Circle K Club is a student-run service club that does a variety of weekly projects in the South Bend community. Projects include; tutoring, nursing home visits, volunteering in animal shelters, serving meals at a local homeless shelter, and other large scale projects. We provide opportunities for weekly service projects, transportation to the service sites, social activities, and leadership opportunities. It's an easy and worry free way to do service! How do I join?

Show up to one of our meetings! They are held every Monday at 7:00PM in the Warner Conference Room of the Student Center (2nd Floor) and usually last no longer than half an hour. Can't make a meeting? Email us! 

 

How much commitment is involved?

As much as you want! We are happy with whatever level of commitment you chose - from occasional project attendance to becoming an club officer. *Please note that some projects require a weekly commitment*

 

Does Circle K provide transportation to all of the projects?

Yes! Transportation is provided for all off campus service projects through a carpool system. 

 

What types of leadership positions are available? 

We provide leadership positions at the club, district, and international level.

 

Executive Board: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Social Media, Sunshine Chair

 

Dorm Representatives: Part of the Public relations committee. Assist club with publicity in residence

                                         halls! Represent CKI with a door dec. 

 

Project Commissioners: Commit to organizing/attending a project at least once a month. 

 

Committees: Fundraising, Historian, Kiwanis Family Relations, Public Relations, and

                       Food Recovery Netowrk

 

If you would like more information on leadership positions or would like to become a project commissioner, please speak with a Board member.

 

What if I miss a meeting but still want to do a project that week?

1. Check the calendar page and see what project you would like to do.

2. Go to the commissioners page to see who is in charge of that project.

3. E-mail the commissioner and let them know you would like to go.
