Ronald McDonald House 

 

The Ronald McDonald Family Room is an oasis providing the comforts of home for the immediate families of children undergoing medical treatment in Michiana-area medical facilities. Overnight guests are referred by a social worker or nursing leadership representative, and stays are granted on a daily basis, with the following three criteria:

• Critical needs of the child

• The distance between home and the hospital

• The transportation needs of the family

 

Volunteers will assist with the "Happy Wheels" cart that provides a bit of comfort as it travels the hospital hallways, bringing parents a hot beverage and snack while keeping the little ones entertained with books, fun activities and toys.

 

Pop tabs are also collected at club meetings to support RMH.
